The next game I have available for you was conceived as an excercise
in learning JavaScript. The game was written while I was working as a
Web Developer at Nortel Networks (although I didn't actually write the
game at work!!). Anyhow, I wanted to teach myself JavaScript, and I thought this would be a good way. The images that I needed (for the board/pegs) were pretty much static... nothing had to move around the screen. and the user pretty much had to just click their input... no keys necessary... no steering or shooting or anything. This game is also unfinished... I had originally though
of implementing a scoreboard using PERL, and maybe keeping track of
points from game to game, but oh well... maybe when I retire I would recommend maximizing the game window upon starting... it likes to have as much room as possible. I would also recommend reading the Help file for the game (bottom right hand button). The rest is pretty much self-explanitory. enjoy! BTW, the closest this game comes to the normal Mastermind game is the 'advanced' level with 4(?) pegs. Although I think in the real Mastermind, there are rules about picking the same colour more than a certain number of times..? AAzMind is completely random... so it could pick Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue! But, enough talk! Lets... Play AAzMind!©2010 www.aaronlee.ca |
